Face Mask Prophecy from The Princess Bride
Why I haven’t seen this scene from “The Princess Bride” memed yet?
These Things inspired me recently:
“Give Yourself Permission to be Creative” - "There's no path until you walk it" and "you have to be willing to play the fool" are just two ideas Ethan Hawke shares in this recent TED Talk on how he learned to get over himself in order to be creative. Good stuff for anyone starting, or wanting to start, something new.
“Cowboys from Hell” - The hurdy gurdy tune we discovered last time (“Sweet Dreams” played by Patty Gurdy) seemed to inspire a lot of folks. Fortunately, my friend Chris sent us this Pantera tune played on the hurdy gurdy.
Moby-Dork, or, The White Zombie - This is the coolest online experience I’ve seen in a long time. From the website: “An apocalyptic interactive online retelling of Herman Melville's 19th-century whaling epic where a lone survivor calling himself iZhmael recounts the horrific tragedy of the convoy Plymouth. Chucho, Starbucks, Neo, Chief, Pippin, Buttplug and the rest struggle to coexist while rounding up hordes of the living dead for DeComp, a massive industrial plant that pulverizes and renders bodies into methane to power the lives of a shadowy, privileged few.”
