Hey there! I’m working out some ideas right now so this blog/email thingy will be on hiatus for a bit. Yes, this is our neighborhood goat.

In the meantime, these things inspired me recently:

• How the Physics of Resonance Shapes Reality. I have a relationship with sound which is to say I feel the world vibrating around me and vibration, even if we can’t perceive it, is sound.

• Solfa Ciphers. These ciphers, codes, are encoded using music. You can type in your name and this website will play your name as a solfa cipher.

• This Full Body-Weight Workout Builds all the Muscle. I love the idea of this…but prefer riding a bicycle to working out. So it goes.

• It Happens Like This. is one of my favorite poems by James Tate. It’s about a goat. The composer Charles Wuorinen talks about setting it to music in this video. You can view the score even which is really interesting.
