The Littlest of Light

“There is a crack, a crack in everything / That’s how the light gets in.”

- Leonard Cohen

It’s the last day of 2020 and other planetary arrangements I’m sure Proclus wasn’t talking about the recent Conjunction when he talked about each of us as mikros cosmos (little worlds) with our contemplative nature like Saturn, or our social nature like Jupiter, or our passionate ways like Mars, but recently at Solstice we watched all three of these planets cruising through the night sky inviting us through the threshold of winter in this quiet time of reflection like hoar frost on a dormant branch–wholly illuminated by the littlest of light.

Very sincerely, I wish you a very different new year.
